"I bought the 3 phone business starter pack and initially I was skeptical but bought into VOIP hearing that it was the future. If I am honest I did not really understand what “non geographic” telephone systems were and I bought into the system really just expecting to pick up a phone and put it back down again and have cheaper monthly bills.

After using the system now for a few months I am astounded with the flexibility. I bought a professional inbound menu that makes me look like a multi-national company and I set up a hunt group that finds me wherever I am so I can leave the office and know that I never miss a call. What I do love is that I can go online and check my live phone bill which stops my heart missing a beat when I used to get my BT bill through the post.

I think I am really just scratching the surface with this phone system but I do appreciate that it has freed me from my desk and I think I am fitting a pint and a half into my pint pot now. "

"For years we have known that our call spend has been far too much. Unfortunately it was a necessity as our total phone spend is directly related to the volume of orders coming in. So for a long time we were in a catch 22, we knew we needed to change, but we had heard that Voip was unreliable and not always of the best quality.

We were approached by Andy from Babelisk, and we agreed to listen to what he had to say. I was not completely convinced, but was impressed with his non-biased attitude and explanation of how todays Voip services would benefit us and how the back up and support would be there for us.

We agreed to a trial the system and I have to say I was immediately impressed by the quality. We rolled out the service to our sales department where most of the calls were being made, and then we finally rolled it out to the whole company.

Not only have our bills been substantially cut, but we have next to no equipment on site, we have no maintenance contract to pay either. We have a reliable and cost effective phone system that has all the functions as standard that BT would normally charge extra for. I.E. call forwarding. We will be calling on Babelisk for more services, they have done nothing but impress me. A fabulous investment, without the hard sell, and without the usual Del Boy telecom sales pitch. We will never go back now, and we will definitely be calling on Babelisk when we open another office at the end of this year as we can then make free phone calls between offices. "

"Ten years ago my company paid twelve thousand pounds for a second hand Plessey analogue PBX and was the size of a large kitchen wall cabinet. Our customers used to joke about our hold music which sounded like Rolf Harris playing ‘Yellow Rose of Texas’ on his Xylophone.

We chose Babelisk to install a new hosted VOIP telephone system and we now enjoy a routed telephone system that targets departments specifically and does not disturb our ‘shop floor’ production staff. We use voip on our sales team mobile phones as well so they can ring back to the office for free when they are logged onto 3G or Wifi.

We also think the mail box function on phones is great as I am away from my desk a lot and the system records the answer phone message in a WAV file and emails it to my Blackberry.

We get all these functions in our new phone system and it cost us a lot less than the second hand analogue system we bought ten years ago. "
